Hi Kristine

My Luddite response is not to have a very-Smartphone !

Which may not be tenable for some people.

That may prove to be smart in the long run ;-) Sorry for my belated reply, I was planning to write a blog post as a way or reply.. but well, time has been evading me. In either case, the short version of what I wanted to say was that severeal of those I talked to while doing a piece on digital trends for 2012 mentioned that "retro-technology" could become trendy among some under certain conditons (too much privacy lost due to legislation and/or tech development, high-profile court cases against young, small-time illegal downloaders, too much noise and hassle from social networks etc). Under such conditions some might be tempted to switch back to "dumb phones".
